Some of you wrote me about how to approach the days when you are not working, when you are not doing a meal plan, and when you do not plan to participate in any physical fitness exercise. We tend to call these “days off” or “rest days”, some people even have “off-season”, and I tend to think that these names are quite appropriate. I think that the main idea or concept in which we participate and live in a fitness lifestyle should have something that never happens when our body does nothing. The only time your body even comes close to doing nothing is when you are dead, and then it still does something; this is called decomposing. But on a serious note, we need to understand that a live fit is more than training in a gym or a series of well-planned dishes, this is really a way of life. Media and marketing do a great job selling products, but they also gave many people an unrealistic idea of ​​what suits, how it looks and how to live in accordance.

Popular thinking to avoid

So often I talk with people who participate in bodybuilding and physics competitions. This is a sport that I personally love and respect. These sports are characterized by a huge number of amazing athletes, and they have always had a solid place in my heart, like some of my favorite personalities and friends. However, most people (but rarely athletes) tend to put the wrong label on these people and wrongly think of these people as the ultimate symbol of the fitness lifestyle. In most cases (there are exceptions) I can tell you that nothing can be further from the truth. I lived this way of life for most of my life, so I know what I’m talking about.

In my experience, most of these people are only engaged in fitness, working around the clock, when it’s time to prepare for the competition. In the rest of the time, many of them will not train for several weeks, they eat whatever they like, and participate in the beating, literally swallowing themselves with food, then turn and start extreme diets to prepare for their show. In addition to this, most people I know in these sports (including myself in my time) are trained and eaten “cleanly” at different times throughout the year during the years in which they participate.

Over time, large fluctuations in body weight, the abuse of steroids and the ever-changing dietary practices are detrimental. As soon as their life has passed to the stage of competitions, most of them, as a rule, become recreational simulators and eventually have the same lacks in physical training as most other people. While sport is a great way to stay in shape and enjoy our life, we must ensure that we create lifestyle characteristics that will remain after our competition days pass. I’ve struggled with this for years and I can tell you that this is a huge problem for a former athlete.

Meet with yourself It will be a long trip

A life fit for life is that you realize the flaws in fitness of your body and develop a way of life that will improve them and support them at a high level. It’s really that simple. It will not be torn up for the summer, and then regain weight in the style of the fall. Of course, there are times when a suitable person can decide to take some aspect of fitness and greatly improve it in order to take advantage of it, but remember that there is no stopping point.

This is a key concept, which is so simple, but so absent in most people’s lives. The style of fitness never stops. It does not end when you stop playing sports, it does not end when you get married, and it does not end when you start your business. There is no stopping point for those who live in full uniform. Of course, we all have setbacks, struggles and problems to overcome; but we overcome them. We know that these failures, struggles and problems will be overcome by living in a fitness style. In other words, we do not change our way of life to solve problems, we deal with problems while preserving our way of life. Strange as it may seem, I discovered that this is perhaps the most difficult aspect of life that most people face.

Of course, there are food, days and times when we do things that contradict our beliefs and fitness. But they are an exception, not a rule. These things are resolved into our life as a break with the norm, as short events that add to our lives in other ways and are worth the costs.

Having some drinks with an old friend who needs to talk – friends are priceless, it will not hurt you
Enjoying cultural events, taking part in food and drinks – many things in life can not be replaced
So you get the picture. Live fit is not associated with a sports six-deck release all year round (but can include it) until you get married, and then take a beer belly. Live fit is the whole life of choice and action that leads to your physical improvement, because your life goes from phase to phase and attitude to relationships. The biggest thing I like about the fitness style is that it’s never too late to start. This is an amazing concept that has changed the lives of millions, including myself, and can do the same for you if you so choose.

I encourage you to take a long time to look at many of the lifestyle options that you are currently doing and consider ways to incorporate a healthier fitness thinking into these things to create and build a lifestyle that will provide you with an excellent level of fitness from this moment forward.
